Are you a parent ‘on the run’, with not enough hours in the day? Want to cook healthier tasty meals for yourself and family? Join Maggie for a practical, educational and fun-filled day. A host of tasty recipes and ideas, rounded off with a delicious meal – and a glass of vino – at the end of the day!

Who is the course for?

  • Anyone, particularly parents of young/teenage children, wanting to improve their own health and the health of loved ones.
  • Health professionals who want to support their patients/ clients / to enhance their health status.
  • Nutritional Therapists, Nutritional coaches, Dietitians and students looking for inspiration and ideas around the practical side of nutrition and eating in order to support their clients’ health.

Course Style and Content

  • During this relaxed and practical cookery demonstration day a qualified IINH Nutritional Therapist will be on hand to discuss the importance of a wholefoods-based diet for healing and health, and to address specific questions and concerns.
  • You will leave full of confidence, fortified with large helpings of knowledge to help expand and develop the way you think about feeding your family, along with plenty of tips for introducing a range of healthier options to the whole family.

What you get on the day!

  • Kitchen confidence: You will be empowered to take better control of the family’s health by incorporating wholesome, quick and easy family friendly dishes.
  • Tips for adapting dishes to suit your budget or personal situation, including how to adjust recipes for food intolerances such as egg, sugar, dairy etc.
  • The importance of a wholefood diet. How to give yourself and your family the gift of health through the healing power of wholefoods.
  • For health professionals – the practical knowledge to help your clients and pass on recipes and a wide range of useful tips.
  • You are not alone: you will meet others on the same path to wellness and hear their stories, advice and tips. We work as a team to support each other.

  • What’s in it? Understanding Food Labels.

  • Recipes! – for 10 – 12 wholesome, delicious and practical dishes.
  • Lots of tips and tricks from a Nutritional Therapist, Mary O’Donavan. Mary, also a mum, will be on hand to share tips and advice on children’s eating . There will be plenty of time to share your own experience and what works for you and your family.
