The Weight Loss Spectrum; From Numbers to Intuition

with Helen Cassidy

The online world is saturated with weight management programmes and quick-fix techniques. Yet many clients come to clinics with weight loss as a primary goal, often after experiencing frustration or disappointment with these approaches. Why do some strategies fail? And how can practitioners support lasting, personalised change rather than temporary results?

Helen Cassidy is presenting a practitioner-level webinar to provide essential tools for understanding the deeper factors influencing weight, from biochemical and physiological to motivational and psychological.

This 90 minute webinar will discuss:

• How biochemical and physiological factors—such as metabolism, hormones, and gut health—can impact weight and appetite.
• Psychological and motivational considerations, including behaviour patterns, goal setting, and the role of mindset in weight management.
• Personalised strategies for supporting clients with empathy and insight, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
• Guidance on recognising when referral to a more specialised practitioner may be appropriate.

About Helen Cassidy
