Beyond the Diagnosis: Nutrition, Hormones & Neurodivergence Across the Lifespan

with Gwen Bastian Enright

This webinar explores the important connections between neurodivergence, nutrition, lifestyle and hormonal health, with a particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

Participants will develop a clearer understanding of the core characteristics of ASD and ADHD, while exploring the real-world nutritional and lifestyle challenges that can affect neurodivergent individuals, including sensory sensitivities, food preferences, appetite regulation, routines, executive functioning and barriers to healthy eating.

The webinar will also examine the often-overlooked relationship between hormonal changes, perimenopause and neurodivergence, including how changing hormone levels may influence the presentation or experience of ADHD and autistic traits.

Alongside this, participants will explore the current evidence surrounding nutritional and complementary approaches, considering where these may have a useful role within a supportive, individualised approach and where evidence remains limited.

Throughout the webinar, learning will be connected to practical clinical application, helping practitioners consider how they can adapt their communication, recommendations and support to work more effectively and confidently with neurodivergent clients.

By the end of the webinar, participants will have greater knowledge, practical insight and confidence to take a more neurodiversity-informed approach within their practice
