About Maggie Lynch

Maggie has been cooking ever since she was a little girl at home on a farm in the Lakeland district of Co. Fermanagh. After her chef training she headed to Oz. and a decade later had some of Sydney’s finest restaurants and cafes on her CV. During this time she also travelled the globe exploring novel foods, flavours and aromas. She founded The Soul Food Company in 2002 focused on private catering and has since expanded this with ‘Taste Health’, Ireland's first wellness-focused Cookery School. Maggie works in partnership with The IINH to direct the cooking modules as a key part of the Nutrition courses. Maggie herself completed a Diploma in Dietary Counselling with the IINH! Maggie’s ‘Taste Health’ classes and courses are designed to help people learn discover and enjoy the wholesome foods that are best suited to their individual health needs, but are also delicious and practical. Her mission is to empower people to enhance and safeguard their health by making smarter informed choices around food.
