Richard BurtonRichard's working life has explored ways of improving the diet of individuals and society as a whole: as researcher, lecturer; consultant to the pharmaceutical industry on dietary fibre; science writer; health journalist; manager of wholefood company; teacher and consultant nutritionist at London's Community Health Foundation; weight management consultant; nutritional therapist. Richard's dietary counselling approach has proved successful with thousands of clients. His knowledge of Chinese Medicine enriches his teaching and counselling skills.


Grace Kinirons BSc (Hons) N Th, PG Cert Nut Med, mBANT, mNTOI

Nutritional Therapist

Grace KinironsGrace Kinirons is from Mullingar, County Westmeath. She graduated from the University of Westminster, London with a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy.
Grace is now established as one of the most successful Nutritional Therapists in Ireland with a busy private practice in Bray Co. Wicklow and is senior lecturer for IINH.
She regularly gives talks on Nutritional Therapy to members of the medical profession, businesses and charitable organisations. Grace also contributes to health articles for the RTE Guide, Image magazine and TV 3. Her main areas of expertise are in the management of stress disorders and autoimmune diseases through Nutritional Therapy.
Grace is a founder member of the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI), the professional body representing Nutritional Therapists and is currently completing her Masters in Nutritional Medicine with the University of Surrey.


Ken Bowbrick MIACT NLP Master Practitioner BSCMEH

Counsellor

Ken BowbrickKen Bowbrick has lived and worked in Dublin as an NLP practitioner for thirty years. He is an accredited counsellor with The Irish Association of Counselling and Therapy. In addition to being a qualified psychotherapist and NLP practitioner, Ken teaches workshops on personal development, team building, health and spirituality. He will teach basic counselling skills, including building rapport with clients, reaching underlying emotional issues to problems, and how to enable the client to replace unhealthy lifestyle choices with a personal success programme.


Anneliese Dressel BSc (Hons), MSc

Nutritionist

Dr Declan ByrneAnneliese is a key member of the IINH teaching staff where she lectures in physiology, nutritional biochemistry and related topics. Anneliese is a practising Nutritional Therapist and has clinics in Cork and Kerry. Anneliese is experienced in working with a wide variety of health issues and her specialist area is in Female Health Disorders.

Anneliese graduated from the University College Cork with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Nutrition, a Masters degree in Nutrition and has completed a Diploma in Nutritional Therapeutics.


Sally Milne BSc (Hons)

Nutritional Therapist

Dr Declan ByrneSally is an experienced nutritional therapist, with a busy practice in Rathmines, Dublin and in Bray, where she takes both private clients and is a key part of the teaching team, supervising students in the training clinic.

Sally graduated from University College, London with a BSC (Hons) in Physiology and settled in Dublin 8 years ago, where she has since qualified as a Nutritional Therapist. She has always had a keen interest in the life-enhancing benefits of healthy eating, and continues to explore new recipes and cooking techniques to share with clients and students alike.

Sally is a key part of the teaching team at IINH, lecturing in physiology, biochemistry and nutritional therapy for the last 2 years.


Joan Hanrahan BSc (Hons Nutritional Therapy) MBANT, DipHM, MNIMH

Joan HanrahanJoan runs a busy practice in nutritional therapy and herbal medicine in Dalkey, where she combines nutritional support with medicinal herbs to optimise healing. Her teaching emphasises nutritional and naturopathic approaches to chronic diseases, and her clinical experience is a valuable resource for students. She is an expert on the digestive system and its relation to immunity, and the interconnectedness of body systems.


Amanda Whitewood BSc (Hons Nutrition), Dip DT, RGN, MBANT

Health Nutritionist

Dr Declan ByrneAmanda has many years of experience in the healthcare sector. Initially a nurse, she went on to develop a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Her children's allergies led her into nutritional therapy, which she then studied at London's Institute of Optimum Nutrition, followed by a degree in Nutrition at Westminster University. Amanda's clinical expertise and teaching skills are in great demand. She is a council member of the British Association for Nutritional Therapy (BANT).


Keith Ashton MBAcC MRCHM

TCM Practitioner

Keith AshtonKeith Ashton runs a busy practice in London's Harley Street, where he combines Nutritional Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Qi Gong for the benefit of his patients. He teaches the key principles of TCM, a holistic, practical yet highly sophisticated system of healing that has served the East for millennia.
