RESTORE HEALTH SHOP PART-TIME POSITIONS (March 5, 2010)
Restore Healthfoods, 67 Camden Street, Camden Village, Dublin 2, are currently looking for two part time positions to join the team! Applicants will have a great chance to further practical hands on knowledge of dealing with the public, learn how to apply a large selection of natural remedies and dietary advice, as well as receive good training from outside suppliers.
It is a friendly and relaxed but busy environment to work in, so offers a challenging but rewarding day. There is also a clinic attached to the shop above which offers an excellent opportunity to develop a client base in field chosen. Positions are available to start immediately.
Applicants must ideally:
- Be qualified (or soon to qualify) in a field of Complementary Medicine, ideally herbalism/naturopathy/ acupuncture / nutrition
- Have retail and sales experience - ideally in a health food store (but not necessary)
- Be available to work most Saturdays and one other week day; Approx 12-14 hrs weekly
- Be passionate about health, eager to help people, hard worker, good team player, communicative and friendly, a good sales person, a quick learner and good in a busy environment with a flexible nature and positive outlook!

PRODUCT REPRESENTATIVE POSITION
Due to rapid growth, Pharma Nord is looking for a Product Representative based in south Dublin.
The candidate must be an independent and motivated individual, who is well-organized and has a strong interest in a healthy and active lifestyle and who acknowledges the importance of nutritional supplements.

PROGESTERONE THERAPY AND FERTILITY TALK
Dr David Smallbone will outline the importance of proper nutrition pre-conception and
what is required.
The pitfalls of poor lifestyle will be defined and what changes to make to improve it.
Included in this will be what materials that are being ingested, should be avoided.
Following this will be an outline of the hormonal changes that are occurring during
the process of pregnancy and the potential problems that can arise.
An outline of the changing nutritional requirements through pregnancy will then be considered.
Finally, the changes that occur, in the mother and the foetus, leading to delivery.
Time for questions will be allocated at the end.

POSITION AT THE THE WHOLEHEALTH CENTRE IN BALLYBRACK (Nov. 23, 2009) A full time position for a 6 month period (maternity cover) and a part-time position are available at the Wholehealth Centre in Ballybrack. Ideally the candidate will have health shop experience, but if not they should have a keen interest in the area.

GROW IT YOURSELF The GROW IT YOURSELF Ireland inaugural meeting for the Bray group will take place on November 11, Wednesday evening starting 8pm in the Royal Hotel in Bray. GIY aims to inspire Irish people to start growing and to give them the skills they need to do so successfully.
