IINH & COOKING

'Nutrition education without cooking is as useful as driving lessons without a car' (Richard Burton)

All courses at IINH offer cooking skills as part of the programme. Our health-centered cookery demonstration classes are presented by Maggie Lynch, creative director of The Soulfood Company. Maggie has 25 years of experience as a chef in fine restaurants in Australia and Ireland, and the Soulfood Company enjoys a top-class reputation as a provider of gourmet catering and fine foods for private functions.

In addition to heading the structured wholefoods-based cooking programme for our IINH students, Maggie regularly offers a variety of successful public classes and courses based on healthy themes, including:
'Healthy Fast Foods for Kids'
'Whole Foods for Health' (see: www.tribune.ie/magazine/food/article/2009/mar/08/food-notes/ )

'Twenty-Twenty' (20 healthy meals cooked in 20 mins)
'Gluten-free Cuisine'
'A Pantry Full of Possibilities'
'Low GI Meals & Snacks for Weight-loss'
'Cooking for Adrenal Stress'
'Eating for a Healthy Baby'
'Cooking for Cholesterol & Healthy Heart'
'Cooking & Menu Planning for Diabetics'
'Food for Mood'
