The Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health

The Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health (IINH) was founded in 2002, and is the only training provider in this country offering programmes and awards exclusively in the area of food in health and Nutritional Therapy. Students on our accredited courses develop a scientific yet practical and holistic understanding of food, diet and health issues, along with the skills necessary to offer safe and effective nutritional and lifestyle advice for achieving and maintaining optimal health.

The weekend courses for the one-year and three-year programmes are held once a month from September to June

Fees

The course fee in 2007-08 is €3000 (€600 deposit on enrolment). This includes all lectures, exam fees, clinics, tutorials and printed course materials.

Open days and enrolment

We are holding open days in Bray and Limerick in the Spring and Summer. These events will be presented by the director, the principal tutors, current students and graduates. The courses will be explained in some detail, and there will be plenty of time for discussion of career opportunities etc. Those wishing to enrol may then be interviewed.

If you are unable to attend an open day, we can arrange an interview for you at a convenient time durng Spring or Summer.
