Health problems and low energy are often caused by a poor diet. But because we are all different, it can be hard to discover which foods suit us best. Nutritional Therapy will identify problem foods and nutritional weaknesses in your diet. We will make detailed dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and you will normally return for one or two follow-up consultations. Most clients benefit from lasting improvements to their health and vitality. Conditions that respond well to nutritional therapy include: weight problems, poor energy levels and lowered vitality, digestive disorders of all types, fertility and pregnancy difficulties, depression and mood disorders, stress-related conditions, skin and joint problems, ADHD and behaviour disorders, lowered immunity, sensitivity to certain foods & PMT and hormonal problems.
The Nutritional Therapy Clinic is open to the public for nutritional therapy consultations, and to provide training in clinical practice for our final-year students before graduation. Consultations are either taken or supervised by a qualified and experienced Nutritional Therapist. The first consultation lasts about 90 mins. Clients are given a comprehensive explanation and programme for dietary and lifestyle adjustments, and may be advised to take certain food supplements for a while. There are normally 1-3 follow-up appointments lasting 50-60 mins.
Student Clinics are held from January-June. Consultations are fully supervised by a qualified and experienced therapist from the IINH. First visit €60, Follow up visits €50.
If you would like an appointment at the clinic, or more information, please call 01 272 3003.
